In despair they decide to frighten the army off by propping Meleager up like a puppet and luckily it works as the soldiers run away to report back to the camp. 6.60 MB download now Gabrielle talks to a hungover Meleager and tells him that the villagers couldn't afford both decent weapons and him, so since they hired him to protect them, he should get his act together. They set up an array of traps for the army, unfortunately in the morning they discover that Meleager and his reward money are both missing and the army's advancing. 8.94 MB download now Gabrielle is defiant that the village will still stand and fight depsite Meleager's absence but fortunately he turns up in the nick of time having purchased some spears with his reward money. A battle ensues and the army are sent running for the hills while the village celebrate Meleager's heroics.
